Kelsi Smith is a native of Tyler, Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2019 where she majored in accounting. Working in the accounting field revealed to Kelsi her love of helping people and led her to enroll at the University of Oklahoma College of Law where she graduated in 2023.
Before joining Iglesias, PLLC, Kelsi practiced law in the areas of taxation, estate planning, and probate in both Kansas and Texas. Kelsi uses her background in transactional law to help counties, cities, and school districts stay out of the courtroom. She advises clients on tax law and best practices in entering into contracts; most importantly, she saves the taxpayer from unnecessary expenses in the process.
Kelsi met her husband, Zachary (who also works at Iglesias), in law school after he asked her to go out dancing. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, barre workout classes, and DIY projects.
